EDGEWOOD, MD—Crews are on the scene of a crash involving a pedestrian in Edgewood.

At around 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday morning, units responded after a pedestrian was struck on Pulaski Highway at Edgewood Road.

Eastbound Route 40 has been shut down at Edgewood Road.

There has been no word on the pedestrian’s condition. Motorists should use an alternate route.
