BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the Baltimore area.
The watch will remain in effect until 11 p.m. on Friday night.
Forecasters say some storms could be severe with the primary threats being frequent lightning, wind gusts of up to 65 MPH, and ping pong hall-sized hail.
Residents should remain weather-aware throughout the afternoon and evening hours.
