BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for the Baltimore area.
The watch will remain in effect until 9 p.m. on Monday night.
Forecasters say a few tornadoes are likely along with widespread damaging winds and gusts of up to 75 MPH. Hail of up to 1.5 inches in diameter is also possible.
Residents should stay tuned to local forecasts throughout the day.
