LANSDOWNE, MD—Emergency personnel are responding after a car drove off of an overpass and crashed onto I-895 on Monday afternoon.

At just before 2:30 p.m. on June 5, 2023, a car went off of the I-295 overpass and crashed onto I-895 in Lansdowne.

The driver is trapped in their vehicle and a rescue is under way.

There has been no word on any injuries.  Motorists should use caution in the area.
