OVERLEA, MD—Police have made an arrest in connection with a homicide that occurred in the Overlea area in 2018.
On Wednesday, May 24, 2023, detectives arrested and charged 32-year-old Kenneth Davis in connection with the fatal shooting of 25-year-old Tracey Carrington, of Essex.
The homicide occurred on September 6, 2018, in the unit block of W. Overlea Avenue (21206).
Carrington was shot multiple times as she attempted to enter into a vehicle. She was later pronounced dead at the scene. After a lengthy investigation, detectives were able to identify Kenneth Davis as the suspect in this case.
Kenneth Davis is currently being held at the Maryland Correctional Training Center.
