JOPPA, MD—Crews are on the scene of a serious crash in the Joppa area.

At around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2023, emergency personnel responded to a reported crash in the area of Old Mountain Road at Old Joppa Road.

Hazmat crews are responding to mitigate oil and debris in the roadway.

One patient has been transported for treatment of injuries.  Several roads are closed in the area.

Motorists should use an alternate route.
