Footage shows vehicle slam into pedestrian, crash into building prior to collapse in Baltimore [VIDEO]

BALTIMORE, MD—Video footage has been released from a fatal February crash in Baltimore that killed one pedestrian and caused a building collapse.

The surreal incident played out on February 8 after police tried to pull over a stolen Hyundai Sonata, according to the Maryland Attorney General’s Office.

The Sonata sped down North Wolfe Street at high speeds and crashed into a pedestrian and a hit Mitsubishi Eclipse.

The 54-year-old pedestrian has been identified as Alfred Fincher, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cars then struck a vacant building at East North Avenue and North Wolfe Street, causing it to collapse atop  Fincher and both vehicles.



Fincher died immediately and five other who were inside of the vehicles sustained injuries.

The driver of the Hyundai Sonata, 33-year-old Shawn Lee Brunson, was arrested on vehicle theft charges after bring discharged from the hospital.
