TOWSON, MD—The Baltimore County Police Department on Tuesday announced several promotions.
Police Chief Dennis Delp has announced the following promotions. The ceremony, which can be viewed online here, took place on Monday, February 27, 2023.

- Lieutenant I. Bing is promoted to the rank of Captain and is assigned to Precinct 11, Essex.
- *Lieutenant K. Fruhling is promoted to the rank of Captain and is assigned to Precinct 8, Parkville (*Lt. Fruhling was promoted to the rank of Captain effective January 3, 2023).
