JOPPA, MD—Crews are on the scene of a Sunday afternoon house fire in Joppa.

The blaze was reported at around 4 p.m. in the 2900-block of Verbena Drive.

Arriving units found fire in the walls of the home.

One injured occupant is being treated for injuries, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.

Tankers are assisting due to a lack of hydrants in the area.
