Carjacking, attempted carjacking reported in Nottingham

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating a vehicle theft, a burglary, a carjacking, and an attempted carjacking that were reported over the past week.

Between 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 22 and noon on Friday, December 23, an individual entered an unlocked detached garage in the unit block of Stabilizer Court in Middle River (21220) and stole multiple items.

At around 6:45 a.m. on Friday, December 23, an individual stole a vehicle that was parked on a parking pad attached to a residence in the 7800-block of Wendover Avenue in Parkville (21234).

At just before 9:45 p.m. on Friday, December 23, a woman was sitting in her parked vehicle outside of her home in the unit block of Lerner Court in Nottingham (21236) when two suspects approached her, displayed a handgun, and ordered her out of the vehicle. The victim began blowing her vehicle’s horn and both suspects fled on foot.

At just after 10 p.m. on Friday, December 23, an individual displayed a handgun and placed it on two victims’ foreheads in the 8000-block of Ridgetown Drive in Nottingham (21236).  The suspects then stole cell phones and other items before stealing the victim’s blue 2018 Hyundai. The suspects fled the scene in the stolen vehicle.
