TOWSON, MD—The Baltimore County Police Department is mourning the loss of a retired K9 member.

The department has announced the passing of retired K9 Bordi.

Prior to his retirement in 2020, K9 Bordi served as a patrol and narcotics detection dog. In 2016 he became partners with Officer E. Saladino.

Officials say K9 Bordi was fun-loving and the best friend of Ofc. Saladino.
