Assault reported in Parkville, vehicles stolen during Joppa Road burglary

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating three burglaries and an assault that were reported this week.

At 2:45 a.m. on Monday, August 29, four individuals smashed the front door to a location in the 1700-block of East Joppa Road (21234) to make entry. The suspects stole multiple keys and stole approximately four vehicles.

At just after 3:45 p.m. on Monday, August 29, an individual used a bathroom near someone’s home in the 2600-block of Taylor Avenue (21234) and was confronted by the victim. The suspect displayed a knife and struck the victim in the arm, causing minor injury, then chased after another victim before fleeing the scene.

Sometime between 9 a.m. on Monday, August 29 and 9 a.m. on Tuesday, August 30, an individual broke into a shed in the unit block of Rosedale Avenue (21237) and stole a four-wheeler.

At 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 30, four individuals broke into a home in the unit block of Latimer Court (21237) and stole cash, clothing, and a purse.
