Pet stolen during Nottingham burglary, shots fired in Middle River

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating several assaults and burglaries that were reported this month.

At around 4 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, an individual entered a home in the 6600-block of Aaron Mee Way in Rosedale (21237) via an unlocked basement door. The suspect stole various items once inside the location.

At just 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 11, an individual used a hammer or axe to break into a business in the 7600-block of Belair Road in Fullerton (21236). The suspect then stole property from the location.

At 4 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, an individual broke into a residence in the 4000-block of Marjeff Place in Nottingham (21236) via a rear window. The suspect then stole an animal from the location.

At just after midnight on Saturday, August 13, a known individual broke into a location in the unit block of Chester Road in Middle River (21220) and physically assaulted the victim. The suspect then pulled out a handgun and shot at the feet of the victim. The suspect was located and arrested.

At just before 6:15 p.m. on Sunday, August 14, multiple subjects were involved in a fight in the area of Firethorn Road and Kingston Road in Middle River (21220). The suspect then pulled a knife and pointed it at the victim.
