ESSEX, MD—Police are investigating a Saturday night shooting in Essex that left one man injured.

At around 11 p.m. on February 26, officers responded to the 1400-block of Hadwick Drive (21221) for a report of a fight that escalated into a shooting.

When officers arrived, they located a male victim suffering from a single gunshot wound.  Medics transported the individual to an area hospital for treatment.
