NOTTINGHAM, MD—With the sleet and freezing rain exiting the Baltimore area, gusty winds are expected on Friday afternoon.

The National Weather Service says wind gusts of up to around 45 mph are possible this afternoon.

These winds will likely result in scattered tree and power line damage and a few power outages given residual ice from recent freezing rain.

Residents should secure outdoor loose objects and stay tuned to local forecasts.
