UPDATE: Southbound I-95 has been shut down.  Initial reports indicate that two workers were struck.

WHITE MARSH, MD—Crews are responding to a medical emergency on Interstate 95.

The incident was reported at just after 4 p.m. on Monday along southbound I-95 between the MD-152 and White Marsh Boulevard exits.

A medevac chopper is responding and units from White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company are assisting with creating a landing zone.

Motorists should expect heavy delays along southbound I-95.
