WHITE MARSH, MD—Police have identified and charged the suspect who fatally shot a woman in White Marsh this week.
Gomezgeka L. Chisala, 29, has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of 32-year-old Shaunya Green.
At just after 4:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 8, Green was found inside her residence on Proctor Avenue in White Marsh suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the upper body. She was taken to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead. The suspect, now identified as Chisala, of Randallstown, remained at the scene.
Police have determined that he and Green knew one another.
Chisala is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on a no-bail status pending a bail review hearing.
