WHITE MARSH, MD—Crews responded to a serious, overnight crash on Interstate 95 in White Marsh.

At just before 12:30 a.m., units from White Marsh, Kingsville, and Fullerton fire companies responded to a crash on northbound I-95 between Cowenton Avenue and E. Joppa Road.

Crews worked to free an unconscious driver who was trapped in a vehicle that was pinned underneath of a tractor trailer.

A medevac helicopter was used to transport the injured person to a trauma center.

The northbound lanes were shut down for several hours while Maryland State Police conducted an investigation.
