PARKVILLE, MD—Police are investigating an attempted carjacking that was reported in Hillendale.
At 9:15 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, a driver was approached by an armed individual in the 7400-block of Forrest Avenue (21234).
The suspect pointed a gun at the driver’s side window and the victim then attempted to take the gun.
Authorities say the suspect fired the handgun, then fled the scene.
The vehicle was not stolen and the victim was not injured.
