Homeowner scares off would-be Rosedale burglars, robbery reported in Hillendale

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating three local crimes that were reported over the past week.

At just after 4:45 a.m. on Thursday, June 17, an individual stole another person’s cell phone in the 1400-block of Wentworth Avenue in Hillendale (21234). The victim was not injured.

At around 11 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, two individuals tried to break into a residence in the unit block of King Henry Circle in Rosedale (21237) by cutting a screen on a sliding glass door. The suspects were scared off by the homeowner and fled the scene before they were able to enter.

At around 1:30 a.m. on Friday, June 18, a group of juveniles physically assaulted another group of juveniles in the 1700-block of Amuskai Road in Parkville (21234). During the altercation, one juvenile displayed a knife and threatened to stab another juvenile.
