CARNEY, MD—There’s a brand new restaurant in town.
Charleys Philly Steaks opened its doors on Tuesday at its newest location, located at 2205 E. Joppa Road in Carney (21234).
The site near Old Harford Road was formerly the location of a KFC.
In 1986, Charleys redefined the Philly Cheesesteak, according to the officials website. Today, more than 560 locations in 45 states and 20 countries serve up the self-proclaimed “#1 Cheesesteak in the World.” Also known for its gourmet fries and natural lemonades, the restaurant franchise is quickly expanding across the globe.
Prior to Tuesday, the two nearest locations could be found at Towson Town Center and at White Marsh Mall.
