Two local businesses burglarized, man assaulted in Rosedale

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating three local crimes that were reported this week.

At 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 5, an individual broke a window at Tony’s Hair and Nails Salon, located in the 8000-block of Philadelphia Road (21237) in order to gain entry. Once inside, the suspect stole a cash register and then fled the scene.

At just before 4 a.m. on Wednesday, two individuals shattered the front door at Grandpop’s Place, located in the 5200-block of Kenwood Avenue (21206), in order to gain entry. Once inside, the suspects grabbed several items, including vehicle keys, from the counter and then fled in the business owner’s vehicle.

At 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, a man got into a physical altercation with another man in the 9500-block of Philadelphia Road (21237).  The suspect used a handgun to strike the victim.
