Extensive sewer relining project to begin in Carney, Perry Hall, Towson [FULL MAP]

NOTTINGHAM, MD—The Department of Public Works & Transportation has announced plans to begin an extensive sewer relining project in Carney, Perry Hall, and Towson this month.

More than twelve miles of sanitary sewer pipe will be relined during the next 18 months. The project will cost about $5.8 million.

Most of the work will be below ground with minimal impacts to communities. However, as with any project of this scale, officials say there may be some traffic or parking issues and occasional chemical odors.

Messages from the County’s contractor will be distributed to communities as the work progresses. In addition, the Public Works & Transportation staff will issue periodic updates.

The project map, provided to NottinghamMD.com by Councilman David Marks, may be viewed below.
