NOTTINGHAM, MD—A massive water main break is causing traffic issues in the Seven Courts community.
The break along Seven Courts Drive near Pinedale Drive sent a geyser of water into the air on Thursday afternoon. Water is reportedly spewing approximately forty feet into the air.
This is the same area in which a sinkhole opened up back in December.
County crews have been notified, and Councilman David Marks told NottinghamMD.com that his office has secured funding in the county’s new budget to repair this main.
Councilman Marks recommends that residents in the area use water while they can, as it will likely soon be shut off for repairs.
Motorists should avoid the area.
