PERRY HALL, MD—Construction on a new Wawa in Perry Hall is set to begin later this month.
On Thursday, Councilman David Marks reported that construction on the new location would likely begin around April 15th.
In November 2019, the convenience store chain announced it would be expanding with new locations in Perry Hall and in White Marsh.
The new store will be located at the corner of Honeygo Boulevard and Belair Road.
Over the next five years, Wawa plans to open 10 to 15 new stores across Maryland.
The new White Marsh store will be located at the intersection of Campbell Boulevard and Philadelphia Road. There has been no update on when construction will begin at that site.
Councilman Marks added that plans for a Steak ‘n Shake at the Perry Hall location were still in the works as well.
