PERRY HALL, MD—The Maryland State Highway Administration is beginning a project to improve portions of Belair Road.

Councilman David Marks on Thursday announced that SHA will mill and patch deteriorated sections of Route 1 between Honeygo Boulevard and Mount Vista Road.

Roadwork will take place between 8 a.m and 4 p.m. on weekdays.

SHA’s contractor, Allen Myers-MD, Inc., will use barrels and traffic signs to alert motorists.

The project should be finished in mid-April, according to Councilman Marks.
