One killed after car smashes into Parkville restaurant

UPDATE 3: An 85-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter in connection with this fatal crash.

UPDATE 2: The victim in this crash has been identified by police.

UPDATE: Reports indicate that the deceased victim was the owner of the Parkville Crabs restaurant. Their name has not yet been released.  The driver and passenger in the vehicle were not injured.

Harford Road remains closed between Taylor Avenue and Lavender Avenue.

PARKVILLE, MD—One person has died following a Friday afternoon crash in Parkville.

At around 12:45 p.m., a Subaru Outback crashed through the glass front of Parkville Crabs, located in the 7800-block of Harford Road (21234), at the intersection of Harford Road and Taylor Avenue.


An employee who was inside the restaurant was reportedly struck and killed.

Roads in the area are now closed.
