PARKVILLE, MD—Crews are on the scene of a major, Wednesday night crash on I-695 in Parkville.

The crash was reported at just after 11:00 p.m. along the outer loop of the beltway at Loch Raven Boulevard.

At least eight vehicles were involved in the pileup, according to the Providence Volunteer Fire Company.

The outer loop has been shut down at the Perring Parkway exit.

Motorists should use an alternate route.
