Bank robbery reported in Parkville, shots fired at home near Overlea

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating two local crimes that were reported over the past week.

At just before 3:45 a.m. on Monday, December 7, an individual exited a vehicle and fired multiple shots into the front of a home in the 400-block of Walcott Road (21206).

No one inside the home was injured.

At just before 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9, an individual entered the Wells Fargo bank in the 2000-block of E. Joppa Road (21234) and announced a robbery.

The suspect implied a gun and, after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the scene.
