WHITE MARSH, MD—A portions of Route 40 was beginning to flood in the White Marsh area on Monday afternoon as heavy rains hit the region.

The White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company reports that Pulaski Highway is currently flooded at Allender Road.

Units are now responding to an incident involving several trapped vehicles in this area.

A portion of Philadelphia Road was also shut down on Monday.

Motorists should use caution in the area.
