OVERLEA, MD—Police in Baltimore County are investigating a Friday night shooting near Overlea that left a man injured.

At just before midnight, officers responded to the 5400-block of Kenwood Avenue for a report of a shooting.

At the scene, authorities determined that a 20-year-old man was shot in the upper body while attending a gathering at the rear of the location.

He was driven to a local hospital and has since been released.
