GoFundMe page established for Snoop the service dog’s vet expenses

NOTTINGHAM, MD—It was a heartbreaking story that had a bittersweet ending.

A GoFundMe page has been established to help cover vet expenses for Snoop, the service dog who was found after fleeing from a fatal White Marsh crash.  Since Snoop’s owner was killed in the crash, the funds will also help the owner’s sister who is now caring for the dog.

Over the weekend, a U.S. Marine was reportedly killed in a crash on Campbell Boulevard.  His identity has not yet been released.

His service Dalmatian, Snoop, ran off and was found the next day by the Lost Animal Resource Group after an intensive search of the area.

Now, the Lost Animal Resource Group has created a GoFundMe to help with Snoop’s medical expenses.

“This fundraiser has been organized for the family of Snoop – The Service Dog,” reads the page. “The sister of Snoop’s owner is the beneficiary of any money donated.”

The page states that it is a fundraiser for Tecora Edwards.  It was created by Leah Biddinger with the Lost Animal Resource Group.
