ESSEX, MD—Police are on the scene of a Friday afternoon shooting in Essex.

The incident was reported at around 12:15 p.m. in the area of N. Marlyn Avenue at Torner Road (21221).

Arriving units are reporting that two individuals have been shot.

There has been no update on the victims’ conditions.

Avoid the area.
