ESSEX, MD—Police are investigating a stabbing that was reported in Essex on Valentine’s Day.
At just after 11:30 p.m. on Friday night, officers responded to the 100-block of Bennett Road (21221) for a report of a stabbing.
Police arrived at the scene and located an adult male victim suffering from an apparent stab wound to the upper body.
The victim was taken to a local hospital and his condition is currently unknown.
As the investigation progressed, a suspect was taken into custody at the scene. He was also transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
More information will be released once police conclude their investigation.
