NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating a shooting and a robbery that were reported on Wednesday.

At just after 12:30 a.m. on December 11, a man was getting out of his vehicle on Rosecrans Place (21236) when he was surprised by his girlfriend, whom he accidentally shot. The victim was taken to an area hospital and the man was arrested.

Sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., an individual broke into a residence in the 2700-block of Glendale Road in Parkville (21234) by prying open the front window. Once inside, the suspect stole cash and personal property.
