Carney neighbor scares off burglar, Rosedale private school burglarized

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating several local crimes that were reported over the past week.

At just after 6:45 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, two individuals grabbed the victim’s belongings om Debkay Court in Essex (21221) and stated that they had a gun. A suspect then pulled a bag away from the victim and ran.

At just after 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, two juveniles entered a residence in the 8800-block of Ashford Road in Carney (21234) via an unlocked door. Once inside, the suspects stole change and then fled on foot. The suspects were located and arrested shortly thereafter.

At just after 3 p.m. on Sunday, two juveniles attempted to break into a residence in the 8700-block of Edgefield Road in Carney (21234) but were unsuccessful. A neighbor confronted the suspects causing them to flee. The suspects were located and arrested a short time later.

Sometime between 6:30 p.m. on Monday, October 21, and 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, an individual broke into God’s Little Angels Academy located in the 6200-block of Kenwood Avenue in Rosedale (21237). Two Items were stolen and two doors were damaged.
