Middle River church burglarized, Dollar General robbed

MIDDLE RIVER, MD—Police are investigating a pair of robberies and a burglary that were reported in Middle River over the past week.

At just before 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 11, a individual robbed a woman of cash and unsuccessfully tried to steal her purse in the 1500-block of Chilworth Avenue in Middle River (21220). The suspect was arrested.

Sometime between 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, and 11:30 a.m. on Monday, October 14, an individual cut the latch to the shed at Grace Pointe Baptist Church, located in the 12000-block of Eastern Avenue (21220), and stole a lawn mower.

At 9:45 p.m. on Monday, two individuals entered the Dollar General store located in the 12500-block of Eastern Avenue (21220) and forced an employee to open the safe. The suspects stole the contents of the safe and the register drawers and then fled the scene.
