PERRY HALL, MD – A hero is being remembered at a local dog park.
Perry Paw Dog Park has erected a plaque honoring Officer Amy Caprio who was killed in the line of duty on May 21, 2018, in Perry Hall.
The plaque reads:
“This plaque is dedicated to the memory of Officer Caprio; a wife daughter, sister, aunt, dog mom and police officer. She died while courageously protecting the residents of Perry Hall, Maryland. The citizens of Baltimore County will cherish her bravery and will never forget the ultimate sacrifice given while serving her community.”
Officer Caprio was run down in the line of duty in May 2018 while investigating a burglary on Linwen Way in Perry Hall.
Perry Paw Dog Park is located at 9033 Honeygo Boulevard (21128).
