ESSEX, MD – Crews are on the scene of a serious, Tuesday night crash in Essex.

The crash was reported at just after 10:30 p.m. in the 400-block of Back River Neck Road (21221).

A vehicle reportedly struck a pole at the scene.

One person has been seriously injured in the crash.
