Employee carjacked during Perry Hall gas station robbery, Parkville home burglarized

NOTTINGHAM, MD – Police are investigating several crimes that were reported over the past week.

Sometime between 2:45 and 4:45 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, an individual broke into a home in the 8300-block of Loch Raven Boulevard in Parkville/Hillendale (21234) and stole a game system, money, and a handgun.

At 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, a juvenile was arrested after police saw him hiding behind the hedges in front of the Dollar General located in the 100-block of Beacon Road in Middle River (21220). The suspect was wearing the exact same clothing and carrying the same replica handgun that had been spotted during a robbery committed at the same store the day before.

At just after 6 a.m. on Thursday, July 25, four individuals unsuccessfully attempted to rob a man in the area of Van Dyke Road at Hazelwood Avenue (21206). The victim was able to run away and the suspect was later arrested.

At 9:45 p.m. on Thursday, two individuals entered the Shell station located in the 9700-block of Belair Road in Perry Hall/Nottingham (21236) and, at gunpoint, assaulted the clerk. The suspects then stole money and cigarettes and fled in the clerk’s vehicle.
