Carjacking reported in Parkville, man knocked out during Nottingham robbery

NOTTINGHAM, MD – Police are investigating a series of crimes that were reported over the weekend.

At 4:15 p.m. on Friday, July 19, while delivering pizza, the driver was carjacked at gunpoint by two suspects on Bayberry Road in Parkville (21234). The vehicle was recovered and the two suspects were arrested.

Sometime between 2:30 p.m. on Friday, July 19, and 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, an individual attempted to break into an apartment in the 8700-block of Blairwood Road in Nottingham (21236) by prying the door frame. Entry was not gained.

At just 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, a juvenile was approached by two other juveniles in the 1600-block of Poles Road in Essex (21221). The two suspects assaulted the victim and stole his bicycle and cell phone.

At 1:15 a.m. on Sunday, July 21, two to three suspects attempted to rob a man at gunpoint in the 8700-block of Blairwood Road in Nottingham (21236). After refusing their request, the suspects knocked the victim unconscious.  When the victim regained consciousness, he discovered his phone had been stolen.

Sometime between 1:30 and 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 21 an individual broke into the clubhouse at Bowleys Marina, located in the 1700-block of Bowleys Quarters Road in Bowleys Quarters (21220). Once inside, the suspect pried open a locked door where a cash box was kept and then pried open the cash box and stole the cash from within.
