House fire reported in Carney

UPDATE 2: Five adults and one child have been displaced by the fire. The Red Cross has been notified.

UPDATE: The first floor of the home has partially collapsed into the basement. The fire has now been extinguished. No injuries have been reported at this time.

CARNEY, MD – Crews are on the scene of a Saturday night house fire in Carney.

The fire was reported at about 9:15 p.m. in the 9200-block of Bellbeck Road (21234).

Arriving units confirmed that there was a fire in the basement of the dwelling.

There has been no word on any injuries.
