Police investigating 2 robberies, 2 burglaries

NOTTINGHAM, MD – Police are investigating a pair of robberies and a pair of burglaries that were reported this week.

At just before 1:30 a.m. on Monday, July 8, two individuals pried open the door to J Convenience store, located in the 8700-block of Satyr Hill Road in Parkville (21234) and removed an ATM and cigarettes. A third suspect stayed outside of the location with the getaway vehicle.

Sometime between 11 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, and 6 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10, an individual entered an unlocked garage in the 11500-block of Manor Road in Glen Arm (21057). Once inside, the suspect stole, alcohol, cigars, and a humidor.

At just after 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10, an individual approached a woman in the 2300-block of Cleanleigh Drive in Parkville (21234) and asked her for money. When the woman refused to give the man any money, he attempted to grab her purse. The suspect was unable to take the purse away from the victim but managed to steal her cell phone, cash, and two credit cards before fleeing.

At just before 4 p.m. on Wednesday, a man was approached by an individual in the 200-block of Ballard Avenue in Middle River (21220). The suspect displayed a gun and demanded the victim’s cell phone and money. The suspect assaulted the victim and took his cell phone and money.
