ESSEX, MD – Crews are on the scene of a late-night house fire in Essex.

At around midnight on Wednesday night / Thursday morning, units responded to the 2200-block of Riverside Drive (21221).

At the scene, firefighters said there was a fire in the basement of the dwelling.

No injuries have been reported thus far.
