Police say three shoplifters were caught after a reported theft at a White Marsh sporting goods store.
The Bel Air Police Department received a call at about 3 p.m. on Saturday in response to a theft.
The caller saw the suspects commit a theft from the Dick’s Sporting Goods in White Marsh and followed them to Bel Air.
The suspects tried to flee when police arrived on the scene.
The three suspects tried to flee on foot, but two of them were caught in the parking lot.
A third suspect was captured in the restroom at a nearby PatientFirst.
About $2,000 worth of merchandise was recovered.
