A Joppa man was hospitalized after a serious fall on Sunday afternoon.

At just after 4:30 p.m., units from Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company responded to the 3000-block of Franklinville Road after a man fell from a roof.

The adult male was taken by ambulance to Hopkins Bayview Trauma Center.

He is said to be in serious condition at this hour.
