Police are investigating two local robberies that were reported this week.

At just after 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 1, a man repeatedly assaulted a woman and stole her cell phone in the area of Compass Road and Honeycomb Road in Middle River (21220).

At just before 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 2, an armed individual entered Ajax Liquors, located in the 3000 block of Joppa Road in Carney (21234), and, at gunpoint, stole cash from the register.  The suspect then fled the scene.
