Two families were displaced on Thursday evening after a vehicle plowed into a pair of homes in Essex.

The accident occurred at 5:30 p.m. in the unit block of Skipjack Court (21221).

Structural damage has been reported in both homes.

The battalion chief has been called in to inspect both dwellings.

There has been no word on any injuries.

Motorists should avoid the area.
