Police are investigating a shooting that injured two men in the Hillendale area of Parkville area overnight.
Police responded to the 1700 block of Yakona Road (21234) at just after 11:30 p.m. for a report of shots fired.
At the scene, police found one man laying on the ground with at least one gunshot wound to the lower body. While police and medics rendered aid to that victim, a second victim returned to the scene, also suffering at least one gunshot wound to the lower body.
Both men, both age 23, were taken to an area hospital for treatment and are expected to survive their injuries.
Police are continuing to investigate and search for the suspect, who fled prior to their arrival but believe that both victims were targeted in this incident.
