Police are responding to the scene of a Monday afternoon shooting in Essex.

At just after 1:30 p.m., a call came in for a report of shots fired in the 900 block of Ashbridge Drive (21221) in the vicinity of the Kings Mill Apartments.

There, the victim was reported shot in a parking lot, according to Baltimore County Breaking News.

The condition of the victim is unknown at this time.
